Blood Red Shoes : March Tour

Decibel-drenching noise-pop duo Blood Red Shoes have announced their first UK shows of 2009, so far announcing three gigs set to take place throughout March.

As well as working on the follow-up to debut 'Box Of Secrets', Steven Ansell and Laura-Mary Carter have toured for what seems like an eternity. Support stints for The Kills in Japan and their own headline tour of Europe last year has seen the duo take on the world since they burst out of Brighton in 2006.

Speaking of the new album, a recent blog post by Ansell detailed their new direction, adding, "we're writing all kinds of crazy shit at the moment, so we have no idea what the record will come out like. So far we seem to have got heavier on some songs, dancier on some songs, and cramps-ier on other songs".
