Blood Orange is set to play London's Village Underground on February 19th.
For years, Dev Hynes was a staple of London's music scene. A member of Test Icicles, his solo Lightspeed Champion guise saw the songwriter indulge his Saddle Creek fetish.
Moving to New York, Dev Hynes underwent a transformation of sorts. Becoming a pop mogul, his Blood Orange project has featured walk-on performances from David Longstreth (Dirty Projectors), Caroline Polachek (Chairlift), Samantha Urbani (Friends), Clams Casino and more.
Well, he's coming home. Blood Orange has announced a one off London date - his first UK show in a little over two years. Taking place on February 19th, tickets are on sale now.
Alongside this, Dev Hynes has shared 'West Drive (Profit Vocal Dub 2)'. Commenting, the songwriter said: "there are literally seven versions of this song. This is one of roughly a million cuts that didn't make it onto the album 'Cupid Deluxe'.
Additional vocals are by Samantha Urbani, and instrumentation and Production by me. Mixed by Blue. Note: percussion borrows heavily from 'Ruins''.
Blood Orange has confirmed the following show:
