This summer Blondie are planning to hit the UK once again. The band have confirmed a special performance at Scotland's RockNess festival, starring at the lush Highland bash for the first time.

Joining a bill which includes The Strokes - who ClashMusic suspect have heard a Blondie record or two in their time - the band's appearance is bound to be a highlight. Now the new wave icons have confirmed three special headline dates across the UK.

Beginning on June 15th, Blondie are set to play Newcastle's O2 Academy. Also including dates in Sheffield and Bournemouth, tickets for the new tour go on sale from Friday (April 16th) at 9am.
