Bloc Party Single News

'One More Chance' to be next release

British punk-funk tykes Bloc Party are continuing their hectic release schedule with new single 'One More Chance'.

If there's one thing Bloc Party seem to be averse to, it's releasing new material all at the same time. Last year the group stunned fans with the sudden release of their third album 'Intimacy', which showed a new found love of electronic music.

The band followed this with 'Intimacy Remixed' which saw the entire album reworked by a variety of producers. In between, Bloc Party released the non-album single 'Talons' which doesn't feature on the download version of 'Intimacy' but is included on the physical version.

Following us so far? Good.

Bloc Party have been recording new material with long time producer Jacknife Lee. Lee took control of the band's second album 'A Weekend In The City' and produced half of 'Intimacy' with Paul Epworth taking charge of the remaining 50%.
