Bloc Party For Holiday Bash

Bloc Party, The Pretenders, CSS and many more will play the annual 'Wreck The Halls' event on December 10th in Los Angeles, California.

Bloc Party are fresh from the physical release of their third album 'Intimacy'. A bold affair, it combines some of their most experimental work to date with some of their most anthemic. American dates are thin on the ground for fans of the band, and this represents the last time Bloc Party will play Los Angeles in 2008.

Also on the bill are Brazilian rave-poppers CSS, Black Kids and The Pretenders. Chrissie Hynde recently got round to writing and recording a new Pretenders album, managing to recapture some of the energy the band had at their peak.

'Wreck The Halls' - see what they did there? - is sponsored by Los Angeles radio station Indie 103.1 and is held at the Club Nokia complex on December 10th.
