Blissfields Details Revealed

One of summer's real treats will return in 2009 with Blissfields confirming the line up for another year of fun.

Held on a real life family farm, Blissfields is small in stature but offers a large and hearty welcome. This year's line up will be headed up by Laura Marling, Mumford & Sons and more, with loads of names still to be confirmed.

The tiny event - 1,250 capacity - will launch with a free party in London's 93 Feet East venue. Held on February 13th, performers will include Subgiant and loads of others with tons of surprises on the night.

This year the organisers have made a charming new addition to the event. One lucky person will be elected President Of The United States Of Bliss for the weekend, with the winning candidate being given official accommodation as well as free food and drink.

The election campaign will run throughout February and March via the Blissfields Facebook groups. To paraphrase another President - yes you can!

Blissfields takes place on Bradley Farm, Hampshire between July 3rd - 5th.
