In London and Manchester

Punk trio Blink 182 have confirmed plans for two club shows in the UK later this year.

Set to get back on the road this summer, Blink 182 left American fans devastated by cancelling their plans. Travis Barker underwent an emergency tonsillectomy recently, forcing the band to shelve their intentions.

Fans on this side of the Atlantic, though, are set to fare rather better. Blink 182 have confirmed plans for a pair of club shows, taking place in London and Manchester this summer.

Hitting Manchester on July 24th, Blink 182 will then turn their attention to London. Set to play the Brixton Academy on July 25th, the shows represent a rather more intimate return than fans may be used to.

Tickets are priced at £32.50 in Manchester and £35 in London and go on general sale at 9.30am this Friday (May 25th).

Drummer Travis Barker has said “We’ve super excited to be doing a couple of smaller club shows at the end of our European run. It’s been a while since we’ve done shows in the UK like this and we think it will be awesome for our fans and for us too. I’m leaving next week to come over to Europe and can’t wait to see all of our fans at the shows!”

Blink 182 are set to play the following shows:

12 Dublin O2 Arena
13 Belfast Odyssey Arena
20 Glasgow SECC

24 Manchester Apollo
25 London O2 Academy Brixton
