Psychedelic flower punks Black Lips have announced a UK tour for May 2008. The band have had a successful year, with the release of their "Good Bad Not Evil" album bringing plaudits by the bucketful.
Latest single "Veni Vedi Vici" highlights the band's rough and ready approach, whilst the video was shot by the band themselves on an old Super 8 camera.
The Black Lips UK tour will feature an incendiary gig at the 100 Club. Once the hub of the UK jazz scene the 100 Club has become legendary through its association with punk - the venue has been the launching point for many of Britain's most legendary acts. Incedently, it also hosts the world's longest (continuously) running Northern soul allnighter event.
The Black Lips tour visits the following dates:

May 12th - Oxford, The Zodiac
May 13th - Bristol, Thekla
May 14th - London, 100 Club
