Line up announced for film fest
The line up for this year's Bird's Eye View film festival has been announced, with headline performances from Bishi and Natalie Clein amongst others.
Set up to promote women in film, the Bird's Eye View events has an important musical input. Aside from performance based events, the festival will hold a special showcase to highlight woman working in the field of music videos.
Specially selecting some of the best female directors around, Bird's Eye View will host seminars by Kinga Burza and Ali Taylor. Highlighting some innovative work, the event will also boast a director Q&A session in which the directors discuss their widely varying techniques.
Part of a wider festival celebrating women's role in film-making, the Bird's Eye View events will also host many other showcases and screenings.
Boasting a number of other events, Bird's Eye View looks to be a fascinating insight into an otherwise unexplored world. Containing performances from Bishi and Natalie Clein, this looks like an event not to be missed,
Bird's Eye View takes place between March 5th - 13th in the BFI Southbank Centre.
