Bestival Early Bird Tickets

With the mud fresh on our wellies the organizers of the celebrated Bestival event have announced that a limited number of briefs for the 2009 will go on sale at mid-day on September 12th.

The fifth Bestival has just finished but already thousands of punters - and the organizers - are looking forward to the next one. Curator Rob Da Bank issued a statement saying:

"Wow what a weekend - in more ways than one! The mud of the Somme with the spirit of Dunkirk as one Isle of Wight wag told me over the weekend. The crazy thing is that me and Josie and John and Ziggy actually feel more positive about this show than any of the others we've done - in large part because of the incredible effort all the festi goers made in the face of adversity and a huge amount of mud! I take my hat off to you one and all. And we've already had literally hundreds of requests for tickets for next year and so are delighted to be going on sale again this Friday! Come rain or shine, but preferably shine, see you next year!"

This year's Bestival event saw the audience invent some wonderful costumes for the 30,000 Freaks Under The Sea theme - only to see them soaked as over one months worth of rain fell in a single weekend. Despite this, an amazing time was had by all as My Bloody Valentine, Hot Chip and special guest Grace Jones rocked the damp hordes.

Tickets will cost a measly £120 for a weekend ticket. Early bird briefs for Bestival will go on sale at mid-day on Friday September 12th.
