Benicàssim Festival organisers have announced the fist acts set to grace the Festivals stages in 2009 – with Kings Of Leon, Paul Weller and Franz Ferdinand all set to play the Spanish megafest later this year.

With strong rumours also suggesting Oasis may well be set to take part in the event in July, tickets for the Festival in Castellón look set to sell out in record time. Last years event saw Leonard Cohen, Arctic Monkeys and many more gracing stages throughout the four-day event, which this year will take place between 16th, 17th, 18th and 19th July (09).

With Franz Ferdinand set to return with their new album ‘Tonight: Franz Ferdinand’ (review) and Kings Of Leon having yet another phenomenally successful year in 08, Benicàssim 2009 looks set to better all previous line-ups yet again. Tickets for the festival are available below.
