Beatles Set To Storm Charts
Fab Four to dominate album charts
Re-mastered mop tops The Beatles are set to dominate the British album charts on Sunday (September 13th) early figures reveal.
The Beatles may have split in 1970, but the in the intervening years the band have become even more popular. The release of the 'Anthology' series and the religious fervour shown by the likes of Oasis have kept the flame burning.
However fans have persistently claimed that The Beatles are poorly represented on CD. A re-mastering process began some time ago in their old stomping ground of Abbey Road studios, designed to bring the original recordings up to date.
Retaining the magic that made them so potent the re-issues have brightened up the sound, clearing out bum notes and adding definition. Released yesterday (September 8th) the albums are already flying off the shelves.
Fans queued outside the HMV flagship store on London's Oxford Street to grab their copy, with those scenes being replicated across the country.

In a new update from the Official Charts Company it seems that The Beatles will once again dominate the countdown on Sunday (September 13th). According to current figures, five of the band's albums are set to land inside the Top 20.

Martin Talbot, the managing director of the Official Chart Company, claims that the results show the lasting appeal of The Beatles.
"These results for the reissues indicate that Beatlemania is alive and well. There are still three more sales days to be counted – today, Friday and Saturday – so this story is not complete yet. But already it is clear that the Beatles' enduring appeal shows no signs of waning."
