Beatles Competition Success

Fans rush to win contract

Fans of The Beatles from across the globe have rushed to enter a new competition where the prize is a stunning piece of memorabilia.

The Beatles are kind of a big deal. The Liverpool lads who took on the world, the band's music remains a potent as the day it was laid down on tape in Abbey Road studios. Yet despite their obvious talent it took manager Brian Epstein to break down barriers on their behalf.

A music store owner, Epstein famously discovered the group after a steady stream of young fans entered his shop asking for a record by a local band. Intrigued, Brian Epstein wandered down to the nearby Cavern club and was astonished by what he saw.

Dressed in leather and belting out rock 'n' roll classics, The Beatles were also in the process of writing their own material. Fresh from a stint in Berlin, the band were electric and raced through their set.

Brian Epstein became the band's manager, and helped revolutionise the music industry. Sure, the young mogul made his mistakes but the ground broken by Epstein would become the bedrock for future groups.

Dying tragically young in 1967, Brian Epstein's role in The Beatles success cannot be understated. Now in a new competition fans stand the chance of winning a stunning piece of memorabilia.

The original management contract signed by all four Beatles is set to be given away in a new competition. Already 70,000 fans have flooded in to the competition, with many more set to enter.

Ted Owen, Business Development Director of The Imagine Corporation Says “During my 30 years of experience in the Memorabilia business, there has been nothing more exciting than this opportunity to reward a lucky fan with popular music’s ultimate prize, something that Beatles fans around the world could only dream of!"

The historic contract has been insured for £500,000, but in a new competition fans will be asked to guess what experts believe it would sell for at auction. The new contest is being run by the Imagine Corporation and is restricted to entrants who are 18 and over.
