Beach Boys Covered… By Pets!

Introducing 'Real Pet Sounds'...

A classic Beach Boys album is set to be covered by household pets for a new charity album.

'Pet Sounds' is one of pop's central documents, a bewitching, experimental release that helped unshackled the Beach Boys from the surf phenomenon.

Toasting its 50th anniversary this summer, 'Pet Sounds' is now set to gain an unusual tribute… from household pets.

'Real Pet Sounds' has been crafted by Blue Cross, and the light-hearted tribute features just some of the many homeless dogs, cats, horses, guinea pigs, mice and rabbits being cared for by the charity.

It's an intriguing parallel, especially since Brian Wilson famously took his own dogs Banana the beagle and Louie the Weimaraner into the studio with him during those seminal recording sessions.

Out now, you can listen to 'Real Pet Sounds' HERE.
