Bat For Lashes Grab New Member

It's Charlotte Hatherley

Cult British group Bat For Lashes have added a new member to their touring band - one time Ash guitarist Charlotte Hatherley.

Bat For Lashes are set to return soon with their new album 'Two Suns'. The band are led by Natasha Khan, and their debut album was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize.

Khan's live group consist of some truly wonderful musicians, responsible for crafting the singer's delicate sonic landscapes. Musicians fluctuate, and it seems that former Ash guitar slinger Hatherley is now in the band.

In a message on her official website the musician confirmed the news. "I have been moonlighting with the delectable Natasha Khan of Bat For Lashes," she wrote.

"I will be touring with Bat For Lashes until September, starting in the UK (in) April...gig of note, April 17 and 19 at the O2 Shepherds Bush Empire...spreading like a happy disease through Europe and USA and hitting the festivals in the summer."

"I'm happy as Larry because the music is so ace and I not only get to play heavily chorused guitar a la The Cure, but get to play throbbingly fuzzed-up bass, keyboards and twinkly bells."

Hatherley also revealed she is working on a new solo album called 'Cinnabar City'.
