Babyshambles Man Arrested
Guitarist Held On Drug Offenses
Babyshambles guitarist Mick Whitnall was arrested yesterday (October 12th) after alleged drug offenses, it has been announced.
The guitarist was arrested in Blackheath, London on suspected drug offenses. A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police has announced that a 39 year old man was arrested at 4,20pm in a cafe/bar on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs.
Following the arrest of Whitnall, officers went to his home in London and recovered what is alleged to be rocks of cocaine. The guitarist is currently in the custody of the Metropolitan Police.
Mick Whitnall is a long time figure on the London music scene, having appeared in Kill City with former flame of Pete Doherty, Lisa Moorish. Well known on the Mod / Skinhead scene, Whitnall worked in the rag trade before joining Babyshambles for 'Shotter's Nation'.
Mick Whitnall is currently being held on suspicion of possessing Class A drugs.

Did they just think he was
Did they just think he was under the influence, or did they actually know? I wouldn't of let the officer arrest me unless they had evidence indicating that he had the cocaine on him. The alcohol rehab program that I was recently at had a lot of cocaine users. It's so hard to tell if you are on that stuff or not. I just don't get why he got arrested unless he was like freaking out or something.
