Babyshambles Album Details

LP Due Next Year

Babyshambles have confirmed that they are set to being recording their third album, which is due to be released next year.

Workaholic drummer Adam Ficek told BBC 6Music that the acclaimed four-piece plan to begin writing and recording the new album in November. "It will definitely be out in 2009," he said. "We're choosing producers, and then in November I think we'll reconvene and really start kicking it into shape."

Adam Ficek recently released his debut solo album "Roses Kings Castles" which was an unexpected delight. A lo-fi pastoral album it showcased the skills Ficek has been honing whilst avoiding the media furore that surrounds Babyshambles' lead singer Pete Doherty.

"Roses Kings Castles" by Adam Ficek is out now. There is no release date for the new Babyshambles album.
