Arctic Monkeys UK November Tour

New dates announced

Sheffield indie giants Arctic Monkeys have announced details of their massive new UK tour.

With their new album 'Humbug' Arctic Monkeys have demonstrated how to mature without losing the youthful energy that made you so irresistible.

After two breakneck albums Arctic Monkeys took a rest, with drummer Matt Helders beginning a successful DJ career. Lead singer Alex Turner meanwhile just couldn't relax, forming Last Shadow Puppets with Miles Kane.

The group's Mercury nominated debut album is an undoubted influence on 'Humbug' which shares its predecessor's love for bombast and strings. Recorded with Josh Homme the material was previewed earlier this year during a series of dates in Australia and New Zealand.

Returning to the UK, Arctic Monkeys showed they were on sensational form with a show at London's O2 Academy Brixton. Ably supported by Them Crooked Vultures the band rattled through their new material without once looking back.

Fresh from their date in the capital Arctic Monkeys then set off for Reading and Leeds, where they were due to headline above an impressive bill. The band played two sizzling sets, unveiling new material alongside established favourites.

Now Arctic Monkeys are set to tour the nation. The band have confirmed a series of tour dates for November, kicking off with a show in Liverpool's Echo Arena on November 13th.

Taking in shows across the nation Arctic Monkeys will finish the tour with a show in Dublin. Amongst the tour dates are shows in Glasgow, Belfast and of course Sheffield.
