Arctic Monkeys Single Plans
'Cornerstone' to be new release
Sheffield indie giants Arctic Monkeys are set to release 'Cornerstone' the second single from their new album, on November 16th.
'Mission accomplished' seems to be the message from Arctic Monkeys. After two years away, crafting music with side projects and soaking up the sun, the Sheffield group returned earlier this year.
Recorded in the deserts of California and mixed in New York, 'Humbug' could have seen the band drift away from their roots. With a mixture of new influences, Arctic Monkeys managed to remain true to themselves by crafting a sensational new album.

Racing to number one, the new album also spawned the single 'Crying Lightning'. Released in co-operation with Oxfam, Arctic Monkeys aim to continue this partnership with their forthcoming single.
Due to firm up details of this partnership soon, it is expected that Arctic Monkeys are set to release the single exclusively through Oxfam stores.
Taken from their recent album, 'Cornerstone' is already a favourite with fans. Rapturously received at festivals over the summer, Arctic Monkeys played stunning headline sets at Reading and Leeds.
The new single will be available on seven inch, ten inch and digital download with a raft of new B-sides. New tracks include ‘Catapult’, ‘Sketchead’, and ‘Fright Lined Dining Room’ with Alex Turner's notebook seeming to be almost bottomless.
