One Little Indian prepare new collection

One Little Indian are preparing to release an AR Kane singles collection later this year.

For some reason - which no one at Clash can quite fathom - AR Kane have somewhat fallen between the cracks of pop history. A bizarre situation, given the power of their back catalogue and the esteem in which they were held by contemporary critics.

Essentially placed alongside the space rock / shoegaze lineage, AR Kane don't quite fit in any one genre. Sure, there are plenty of noisey psychedelics on display but Alex Ayuli and Rudy Tambala were also taking their sonic queues from hip hop and house - whatever turned them on, basically.

Now One Little Indian have gathered the group's singles together in one handy document. 'Complete Singles Collection' will be released on October 1st, gathering 32 tracks onto two separate discs.

The full tracklisting hasn't yet been unveiled, although One Little Indian have confirmed that the following will appear:
