German producer Apparat is set to return with new album 'The Devil's Walk' on August 1st.

Berlin based artist Sascha Ring has risen to become one of Europe's most respected producers. Using the moniker Apparat, the producer has merged Teutonic techno with bass textures.

Taking a break from Apparat, Sascha Ring has formed one half of Moderat while also working with Ellen Allien. Returning to his familiar alter ego, the producer is working on a new batch of material.

Fourth album 'The Devil's Walk' will be released in the Autumn, ending a period of silence from the producer. Conceived during a trip to Mexico last year, the bulk of the material was laid down in a makeshift studio in the small town of Sayulita.

Completing the material with assistance from Patrick “Nackt” Christensen (formerly of electro-goth outfit Warren Suicide) 'The Devil's Walk' will be released later this year.

As yet, the material has yet to be heard although Apparat is now streaming new track 'Black Water'. Available as a download, the cut will be given a physical release on August 1st through Mute.
