Apparat Confirms ‘Krieg und Frieden (Music for Theatre)’ Dates

Based on Tolstoy’s 'War and Peace'

Apparat has confirmed a series of dates based on his 'Krieg und Frieden (Music for Theatre)' project.

Real name Sascha Ring, Apparat has long admitted to influences far beyond the usual electronic music sphere. However new project 'Krieg und Frieden (Music for Theatre)' may just be the furthest the producer has strayed from the climes of dance culture.

Inspired by a theatrical production, 'Krieg und Frieden (Music for Theatre)' has its roots in Tolstoy's 'War And Peace'. Sebastian Hartmann’s theatre production of the Russian work seemed to capture Apparat's imagination, and asked Ring to contribute to this mammoth project, commissioned by the renowned German arts festival Ruhrfestspiele in Recklinghausen.
