It features Nils Frahm, Jlin, Bloom...
Aphex Twin

Aphex Twin played Houston’s Day For Night festival about a week ago, his first Stateside set in almost a decade.

Quite the moment for North American fans, it also sent the internet into a meltdown with Richard D. James getting up to his usual hi-jinks.

A mysterious 12 inch was sold on site, while those lucky enough to be in attendance swore blind that new material formed part of the producer’s set.

Well, the Reddit community have gone to work on Aphex Twin’s set, picking it apart piece by piece.

The full set list makes for fascinating reading, with the Warp legend drawing on the footwork inclinations of Jlin, Bloom’s almighty ‘Quartz’ and a saucy re-work of Olafur Arnalds and Nils Frahm.

Seriously, it looks incredible. Aphex Twin will playing a host of European festivals next summer, as well, so this is the perfect point to get acquainted.
