Producer brings 'Remote Orchestra' to UK

Aphex Twin is set to bring his 'Remote Orchestra' project to the Barbican later this year.

One of the most revered names in electronic music, Aphex Twin's acclaim is matched only by his inscrutability. Last summer, though, the producer stirred into life performing his 'Remote Orchestra' project in Poland.

Typically forward thinking, 'Remote Orchestra' finds Aphex Twin controlling a 28-piece string section and a 12-strong choir by remote control.

Bringing the project to London venue the Barbican on October 10th, Aphex Twin will perform 'Remote Orchestra' alongside 'Interactive Tuned Feedback Pendulum Array' - a project that expands on Steve Reich's Pendulum Music - and other pieces.

Tickets go on sale to Red & Orange Barbican Members at 10am on Wednesday (June 27th) and will be on sale to the general public at 10am on Thursday (June 28th).
