Amy Winehouse Booed

Star singer Amy Winehouse was booed at Bestival this weekend after arriving on stage more than 40 minutes late.

The already weather-beaten crowd were in no mood to be messed around, enduring high winds and muddy conditions all weekend at the storm ravaged Isle Of Wight site. Winehouse was set to use the appearance as her final live concert of 2008, but it was to end badly as she played for only 25 minutes finishing with her hit "Rehab".

As if that wasn't enough for the long suffering crowd the sound on the main stage was extremely quiet, leading to more complaints.

The singer recently pulled out of Rock en Seine in Paris (August 29) just hours before she was due to go onstage, due to illness.
