Adem is gearing up to release his great new covers albums "Takes" on May 12th, and has announced a special show at London's Union Chapel for May 25th.
"Takes", the new covers album by Adem, is a collection of songs that have impacted upon the singer between 1991 and 2001. A rich and versatile collection, the album includes reworkings of songs by both Low and Aphex Twin.
"Takes" will be released on May 12th through Domino Records. The Union Chapel gig will feature a host of guest musicians, recreating the depth of instrumentation on "Takes". With live shows a rarity from Adem, this one looks to be quite special.
