Singer takes the reins for 'Skyfall'

Adele is set to perform the theme song for upcoming Bond film 'Skyfall', it has been reported.
Adele has long been linked to a potential Bond theme - little wonder, the '21' singer is the ideal candidate. With work already under way on new flick 'Skyfall', speculation reached fever pitch as rumour continually linked the British artist to the theme song.
Now Music Week reports that Adele will, indeed, perform the theme to 'Skyfall'. Set to be released later this year, the 23rd Bond flick will be soundtracked by the record breaking Tottenham artist.
Set to première in London on October 23rd, 'Skyfall' will be released publicly three days later. Daniel Craig's third outing as Bond, other actors confirming their involvement include Dame Judi Dench, Ralph Fiennes and Naomie Harris.
If, as seems extremely likely, Adele records the theme song for 'Skyfall' this would represent her first new material post-21.
'Skyfall' follows the success of 'Quantum Of Solace' - which was of course soundtracked by Jack White and Alicia Keys' 'Another Way To Die'.
