AC/DC Frontman Honoured
Hospital Ward Re-Named
A hospital room in Florida which specialises in music therapy is set to be named in honour of AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson, it has been announced.
The Gateshead-born singer has been involved in efforts to help the room, which uses musical equipment to help children recuperate. The AC/DC frontman is set to appear at the unveiling of the new 'Brian Johnson Music Therapy Room' next week.
Amongst the fund-raising organisations involved were the John Entwhistle Foundation, named in honour of the legendary bassist with The Who.
AC/DC have had an incredible year, releasing their first album in eight years. 'Black Ice' was a storming return to form, recalling the band's bombastic 'Back In Black' era peak.
AC/DC also recently announced extra tour dates for the European leg of their 'Black Ice' world tour.
