A$AP Rocky has revealed that his debut album will now be released in 2013.
Ah, the long, tangled saga of A$AP Rocky's debut album. The Brooklyn rapper has become hot property, with those initial A$AP Mob mixtapes revealing an artist who can seemingly cause immense hype with a single rhyme.
Debut album 'LONGLIVEA$AP' was initially scheduled to be released on September 11th, before being pushed back to October 31st. Now the rapper has revealed that the upcoming album is not set to see the light of day in 2012.
MissInfo.tv reports that A$AP Rocky has revealed that his debut LP is set to be released in 2013. During the interview the rapper explained that reasons behind the delay:
“The issue with my album is I got things on it that’s so out of this world that it’s taking so long to get mastered. That’s the issue, and I refuse to take anything off. It’s complete, everything is being mastered and cleared right now. Its just so hard to get things cleared, because you got to find people to clear samples. It takes a long time and that’s why it keeps getting pushed back from Halloween to September 11th. I want to say it’s looking like top of the year, first quarter because it makes no sense to put out a album in December.”
