A Place To Bury Strangers Tour

Brooklyn power trio hit UK

Don't let the emo-esque name fool you. A Place To Bury Strangers are LOUD.

The Brooklyn power trio are renowned for their love of excessive noise, being dubbed the loudest band in New York by music fans. Blending psychedelic rock with some far out noise, A Place To Bury Strangers released their debut album at the end of last year.

Sneaking out under the radar, it was nonetheless an inspiring mixture of old and new, taking the psychedelic template and stretching it until it breaks. After touring with MGMT the group became a must see attraction, using their own, hand-built guitar pedals to produce some extreme noises.

Attracting admiration from acts as disparate as Wilco and My Bloody Valentine, A Place To Bury Strangers might not be playing a venue near you, but you'll probably still be able to hear them.

A Place To Bury Strangers release new single 'Missing You' on April 6th. The band will play the following tour dates:

March
31 Dublin Whelans

April
1 Glasgow Stereo
2 Manchester Ruby Lounge
3 Leeds Cockpit
5 Birmingham Barfly
6 London Kings College
