80s Matchbox B-Line Disaster have been forced to postpone their one off show at the Shepherd's Bush Empire.
In a year dominated by high profile reformations, the return of 80s Matchbox B-Line Disaster still stood out. Perhaps it was the sense of unfulfilled potential, or the shared memories from their debauched live shows - whatever, their re-union was most definitely worth celebrating.
Deciding to make the whole project permanent, the band announced plans to perform at West London venue Shepherd's Bush Empire. Sadly, though, it seems that 80s Matchbox B-Line Disaster won't be going through with the current show.
In a statement the group said: "Following our reformation and amazing reactions to the last sold out tour, we've been working on some exciting new material. The work is taking place between London, Brighton and Berlin and we're deep into finishing recording before unveiling the tracks live, so we've decided to postpone the forthcoming 02 Shepherd's Bush Empire show."
"Apologies for any inconvenience but we promise it will be worth the wait!! Remember, happiness is a stretched face."
Thankfully, the band have decided to re-arrange the show, with all tickets remaining valid. The new date for 80s Matchbox B-Line Disaster is:
18 London Shepherd's Bush Empire
