My Bloody Valentine
Seminal UK shoe-gazing pioneers
Heavy tremelo and distortion marked the sound of My Bloody Valentine, a sound which sparked the short lived shoe-gazing movement and a host of imitators.
Formed around the core of Kevin Shields and Colm O'Ciosoig the band saw a number of line up changes but the definitive roster created the astounding 'Loveless' album, a perfect balance of noise and beauty.
Their notoriously slow workrate finally ground to a halt in 1995. Recent announcements conform a reunion and a new album in the works.
