NEW ISSUE OUT NOW!

Maximo Park

Newcastle punk funk icons

From their early days of frontman Paul Smith reading novels onstage, these Newcastle jitter poppers originated from the same scene which birthed Field Music and The Futureheads.
Their Paul Epworth produced debut 'A Certain Trigger' saw their rapid rise from somewhat pretentious, high art bookworms to romantic, jerk-punk chart botherers, today they can be found taking their bedsit indie-pop around the globe.
