Travis To Perform ‘The Man Who’ Live

Scottish band to re-visit their 1999 favourite...

Travis have confirmed that they will perform their enormously successful 1999 album 'The Man Who' in full later this year.

The Scottish band released the record in May 1999, a guitar band operating in the post-Britpop lull.

Something about the record struck a chord, however, with 'The Man Who' spending 11 weeks at number one and selling more than three million copies.

Travis will re-visit the album later this year, performing 'The Man Who' in full at two special shows.

The group will play Manchester's Bridgewater Hall on September 8th before headlining On Blackheath festival on September 9th.

“Songs are like emotional bookmarks in time,” Fran Healy said. “When you hear a song you are transported to those times and feel strong echoes of the feelings you felt. Rarely does an album have this ability so performing ‘The Man Who’ is going to be a joyous occasion.”

Travis will play the following shows:

September
8 Manchester Bridgewater Hall
9 London On Blackheath
