St. Vincent is taking her aunt and uncle along for the ride on some upcoming North American shows.
Annie Clark announced the dates at the tail end of 2017, and has now added performances from jazz duo Tuck & Patti.
Formed in the early 80s, the pair are actually Annie Clark's aunt and uncle - real names Tuck Andress and Patti Cathcart Andress, they played on 'MASSEDUCTION' track 'Los Ageless'.
Posting a new message on Instagram, St. Vincent said simply: "Cue up Sister Sledge and Jade’s ‘We Are Family!"
It's a neatly cyclical move, with Tuck & Patti having been a formative, encouraging influence on St. Vincent when she was still a teenager.
Check out the message below.
I am thrilled to announce that Tuck and Patti, will be joining the “Fear the Future" tour! Tuck and Patti are an acclaimed duo who have been touching people's hearts worldwide for three decades. They are also responsible for my earliest touring experiences. Why? Because they are my Aunt and Uncle. Cue up, Sister Sledge and Jade's, “We Are Family!” #tuckandpatty
St. Vincent's current tour is, of course, her most opinion-splitting move to date - here's the Clash review of her Brixton Academy show.
