Red Hot Chili Peppers Postpone Dublin Shows

Anthony Keidis has flu...

Red Hot Chili Peppers have been forced to postpone their upcoming Dublin shows.

The band played London's O2 Arena at the weekend, delivering a powerhouse performance that drew on their decades long career.

However Anthony Keidis has been struggling with his health, battling flu as the tour progresses.

This has taken its toll on the singer, with Red Hot Chili Peppers cancelling shows at the 3Arena tonight (December 20th) and tomorrow (December 21st).

The band's statement reads: “We are so sorry that we cannot come to Dublin as planned for the next few days. Anthony has been fighting off the flu all week and after the show last night it was clear that he has to stop touring and recover, hence the decision to push back the shows to next year.”

The shows have been re-scheduled, with all original tickets to remain valid. Dates are as follows:

September
20 Dublin 3Arena
21 Dublin 3Arena
