Phosphorescent Confirm UK Tour

...and show off the 'Ride On/Right On' video

Stateside country hymnal crew Phosphorescent are set to hit the UK later this year.

It might not be the most original thing in the world, but golden, sepia-tainted Americana ain’t never going to grow old. Phosphorescent do it better than most, with new album ‘Muchacho’ drawing widespread praise.

Led by Matthew Houck, the sessions found Phosphorescent exploring twinkling electronics amongst their pastoral songcraft.

Clash writer Peter Adkins opined that “moments such as Houck’s near breaking voice in ‘Muchacho’s Tune’ tale of being “fucked up” make this a beautiful outing in hauntingly pastoral heartbreak. Impressive.” (Full review HERE)

Now Phosphorescent have posted the new video for ‘Ride On/Right On’ alongside a host of UK dates. Performing at Green Man next weekend, the group will then return to the country in November, for shows which start in Newcastle before hitting Leeds, Belfast, Liverpool and more.

Ending in London on November 26th, Phosphorescent will tread the boards at the Shepherd’s Bush Empire.

Tickets are on sale now.
