Not3s Shows His Class With A Stellar KOKO Show

A night of many celebrations…

Amongst the proliferation of exciting music coming out of the UK’s rap scene, Not3s is one of the artists that have seemingly shot to fame at a speedy pace.. In 2017, Not3s jumped onto the scene with “Addison Lee”. Since then he’s abolished any perceptions of being a ‘one-hit-wonder’ becoming one of the artists we can rely on to give us banger after banger. On the day of his 20th birthday, performing at Koko, his London fans were in for a special treat as Not3s provided an impressive all-round performance with many a cause for celebration.

From the outset of the show Not3s showed his intent on being different to his counterparts. First appearing on the balcony to surprise his fans before heading to the stage, he opened with the 'Intro/Crank It Up' from his EP ‘Take Not3s’. A night full of surprises, Not3s invited his fair share of guests to accompany him on stage. He performed both tracks of his own and those of others which he’s featured on, proving just how wide his discography has come to stretch in a short space of time. NSG joined him on stage for 'Pushing Up', whilst Maleek Berry helped out Not3s’ on recent hit 'Sit Back Down', whilst Shakka and Tinie Tempah also accompanied him on 'No Drama'. If that wasn’t enough, he also brought on Fredo for one of the biggest tracks to come out of the end of last year 'YRF' and SL, a clear fan favourite who performed his hit 'Tropical'.

More than just a concert for Not3s, his birthday celebration continued throughout the night and included a number of unexpected gifts which began with the entire audience singing the artist 'Happy Birthday'. Tinie Tempah also left Not3s shocked by giving him an Audemars Piguet watch. The rapper was also presented with a few plaques by his label, marking significant milestones in his career. Marking the occasion, balloons with the number three showered down on the audience.

Opting for a live band, he affectionately referred to as a ‘bunch of animals’ and his own slick backing singers, Not3s proved he is setting his sights higher than just giving fans a good-enough show. With flawless vocals and an energetic stage presence, there is nothing amateur about Not3s who had the audience singing along to all of his songs. During the concern he took the opportunity to announce the release of a new project in May, titled ‘Take Not3s 2’, showcasing a few tracks from it.

The show came to end after Not3s performed some of his most well-known hits 'Addison Lee', 'My Lover' and 'Aladdin'. Not3s gave the crowd enthusiasm throughout the whole night. Amongst the backdrop of his birthday celebrations, we were given a telling look into the fact that Not3s has a number people who heavily believe in his talent and hard work. With his musical ability alone speaking for itself during the show, Not3s proved he is being primed for the top and is already ahead of the game.
