The Rolling Stones have confirmed an all-star support cast for their upcoming UK shows.

The rock 'n' roll icons will tour across the UK next month, playing some typically massive venues, and have just confirmed the supporting cast.

The tour opens at London Stadium on May 22nd, with Liam Gallagher set to warm up fans. The singer commented:

"It's a dream come true to be asked to open for the mighty Rolling Stones - the best Rock n Roll band EVER."

Elsewhere, Florence + The Machine will support at the same venue on May 25th, fans at Southampton St Mary's will be treated to a set from The Vaccines.

The Specials will support on the Coventry leg of the tour, while Richard Ashcroft and elbow have also confirmed their involvement.

The Rolling Stones will close the tour on June 19th at London's Twickenham Stadium, with current Clash cover star James Bay supporting.
