Is Glastonbury 2016 Going To Be A Wash Out?

Glastonbury is almost upon us – but will this year be a wash out?

The weather always plays an important factor in any British festival, with memories of previous Glastonbury mud-baths lingering in the collective consciousness.

A spate of heavy rainfalls at the weekend have left water on the Worthy Farm site, with videos from workers piecing the festival together quickly spreading online.

Here's a river running through the Glastonbury site.

…and here's a lot of squelching underfoot.

So, will Glastonbury be rained off? Maybe, but maybe not. The Worthy Farm team are working to gain traction in the ground, while the weather is predicted to improve as the weekend draws near.

And in the end, that Glastonbury spirit will surely remain…
