Idelwild For Camden Crawl

Scots to join music showcase

Scottish indie giants Idlewild are amongst the new additions to the Camden Crawl.

The infamous showcase event centred on a small part of London, the Camden Crawl has grown to become one of the most important events in the British music industry.

Scottish indie legends Idlewild have confirmed an appearance at the event. The band recently announced a series of gigs in London where they will play all of their studio albums back to back.

Joining Roddy Woomble & Co. at the event will be longstanding Liverpool group Echo & The Bunnymen. Surviving both post-punk and the post-punk revival, the band are one of British music’s longest standing success stories.

Also on the bill are veterans Wire and political activist Billy Bragg.

Newcomers on the bill include Kitty, Daisy And Lewis – the rockabilly trio signed to Sunday Best. Dubstep producer Toddla T will also perform at the event, which takes place at venues across Camden.

Hotly tipped acts on the bill this year include Little Boots, Goldielocks, Dan Black and London group Golden Silvers.

Camden Crawl takes place between April 24th – 25th.
