Frank Turner x OneFest In Roundhouse Takeover

Songwriter to curate four nights of music...

Frank Turner will curate and headline four nights at The Roundhouse, Camden from May 12th to May 15th 2017.

The mini-festival is called Lost Evenings and will see the folk rocker hand pick artists for the shows. Turner will perform greatest hits shows with his band The Sleeping Souls on the Friday and Monday evenings.

On the Saturday, Turner will celebrate the 10th anniversary of his debut ‘Sleep Is For The Week’ by playing it in full before resurrecting north London club Nambucca’s infamous night Sensible Sundays by topping an acoustic bill on the Sunday. A second stage will feature up and coming artists chosen by Radio X presenter John Kennedy.

The shows are being organised with OneFest, a non-profit, music industry development company for young people aged 16 to 25. OneFest started life as a festival in 2011 with performances by Damien Rice and Laura Marling before a headline performance by Blur frontman, Damon Albarn in 2012. This will be their first festival in five years.

"As an artist who worked their way up from the ground floor, I totally understand the challenges involved in carving out a meaningful and sustainable career within the music industry," says Frank Turner. "OneFest plays a critical role in helping young talent get their first significant break, along with arming them with the tools and the knowledge to get ahead. I'm delighted to be collaborating with OneFest as I recognise only too well the importance of opportunity and the right kind of support to help new and young talent into the business."

OneFest and Frank Turner present Lost Evenings runs between May 12th – 15th.
