deadmau5, Slaves, House Of Pain Added To Electric Castle

Big acts gear up to conquer the castle...

Romania’s biggest festival Electric Castle – set in the dreamy surroundings of a 15th century Transylvania castle – has just announced a raft of new acts some 130,000 revellers will party hard to in July.

alt-J were already confirmed as headliners for the five-day event, which also boasts performing arts, hi-tech VR demonstrations, comedy, video games and – new for 2017 – TEDx Talks.

Spaced out over seven stages, and with a 24-hour music policy, Brits contemplating buying a ticket would do well to consider local beer costs about a quid, with most meals coming in at three quid.

London crew Reggae Roast will be over laying down some summer vibes, or if you’re looking for something a bit more high-energy Atari Teenage Riot were also announced.

Festival-goers are welcome to camp, but pre-erected yurts are also on offer, or, if you feel like splashing out, some four-berth Swedish lodges are still available on the website.

Grab tickets before the drawbridge raises on this hedonistic summer destination.

Electric Castle takes place from 12th – 16th July. Tickets start at just £68 via Festicket. For more info check out the Electric Castle website HERE.
