Live: Paloma Faith

Faith has an impressive CV under her belt with past jobs including Magician's Assistant and Burlesque Dancer and it's fairly translucent that her eccentric life is far from a farce and more simply, just the way she is.

She stepped up to the stage in a pristine white Alice In Wonderland dress with a Tudor style collar accompanied with a dollop of red 'Chuckie The Doll' hair on top of her head which she accessorizes with her trademark cheeky smile. She addressed the audience in the style of a chipmunk, god love her, explained that she had lost her voice and that "one of the X-factor judges told me I have to sing like this if I’m performing tonight".

Talking like a Chipmunk apparently paid off as her voice was gorgeous as she sang the songs from her debut album and her performance was a twisted and fun charade; her movements and endearing but unusual manner were reminiscent to a clockwork doll which has come to life and is causing mischief at midnight, and as she beautifully sang her Live Lounge cover of David Guetta's ‘Sexy Bitch’ a sparkle in her eye appeared before she picked up a tray of pink chalk powder and, like a naughty toddler, proceeded to boisterously pelt the powder all over her own snow white dress all over.

Faith is a real classy lady but she’s certainly not dull and underneath the refined manners and sassiness is a childlike lust for life and ounces of sex appeal. With a few more anthems this girl is going to be fierce!
