I've dug out the wooly scarves, and have rejigged the iPod. Out goes 'Summertime' and in comes something a bit more wintery...

I made a winter soundtrack
I made a winter soundtrack last year - I'll try and dig it out. From what I remember it had:
Stuff off of Vespertine by Bjork
'Nirvana' read by Tom Waits from the Orphans album (most Tom Waits is very wintry)
Some goodies from the Victorialand album by Cocteau Twins
Pavement - 'Greenlander'
Gorky's Zygotic Mynci - 'Frozen Smile' (or anything from Gorky 5 album)
Immortal - Battles In The North (for your grym and frost-bytten black metal needs!)
Boards of Canada - Kid For Today
(This list has reminded me to go and listen to the Gorkys again - what an awesome band, and each album represents a different season!)
