okay, what i after is you guys to put together the ultimate supergroup.
Slots to be filled -
lead singer
guitarist
bass player
drummer
keyboards
we can stretch to -
horns
backing vocals
and token 'bez' style loon
so, let's have your suggestions and reasons why!
"Nice Blues Brothers"
Nice Blues Brothers reference.
Alright, I'd have as follows:
Lead singer(s): Wayne Coyne (Awesome) and Karen O (sexy, cool and a bit unhinged)
Guitarist/backing vocals: Jack White
Bass player: Jesse F. Keeler (DFA79, MSTRKRFT etc)
Drummer: Josh Homme
Keyboards/synths: Matt Bellamy
Wow, that would be an awesome band.

"Hmmmmmmm........... Lead"
Hmmmmmmm...........
Lead Singer: Jeff Buckley (obvious one)
Guitarist: John Fahey (pointlessly obscure)
Bass Player: Danny Thompson (bass player and whisky drinker extraordinaire)
Drummer: Tony Williams (late 60s Miles Davis cohort)
Keys: Rick Westfield (Kool and the Gang)
Playing exploratory roots / folk / jazz influenced music. I reckon they'd make one critically reviled album then split up. Said album then becomes popular with hunters for obscure breakbeats and weird folk sounds.....
