new networking opportunity

Hi all, I thought you might be interested in this tidbit of professional info.

I work with HMV creating a website where users can share their love of film and music in a really innovative way – actively editing the site and creating content themselves.

Basically, the site allows you to view and make visual maps of how albums, music, tracks and films are all connected. It's then really easy to connect with media you fall in love with etc.

We're all msuic fans here so i thought it would be of some use and interest to be one of the early members of what we hope will grow to become a large community of music and film fans. Mustn't forget that film bit.

There are loads of opportunities for you all to get your names in there first for reviews, (Cass Mccombs hasn't been done yet).

This isn't a site for just mainstream tastes by any stretch of the imagination - the database has millions of artists and we've seen early users help develop this site with connections for everything.

Also, you can make those connections between artists and media. The most random examples if found... did you know that Kate Bush and Rowan Atkinson dueted for Comic Relief?
