Libertines Reformation

So apparently Pete and Carl were offered crazy money to reunite for this year's Reading /Leeds Festival this Summer with Carl nixing it because of Pete's 'bad energy' (or something equally bizarre).

A reunion you'd like to see?
Was there plenty of mileage left in their partnership or are they better off with their own careers?

I'm still mourning the death

I'm still mourning the death of DPT.

oh, wait - that was a publicity stunt, right, Pete?

I really liked Shotters Nation (so much better than Down In Albion) and Romance at Short Notice (it didn't sound like a bunch of Libertines outtakes) but, I personally am kinda over the whole Pete/Carl fanfic fest. They left a good album. However, they also left a bunch of fourteen year old boys jangling out of tune guitars in their wake. I can't forgive them for that.

Undoubtedly amongst the most

Undoubtedly amongst the most influential British groups of our time, even if our time was dominated by crap groups attempting to the Libertines. That said, I still think Pete'n'Carl have another great record left in them. Dunno if it'll be together though........
