By now you should have read our Radiohead feature here. Surely one of the best bands of modern times, Radiohead are also a group that fans love to obsess over. Do you know any fascinating trivia about the Oxford grumps / musical gods? THe best post wins a Radiohead boxset!

Here's mine to start you off:

Fact Number One: Thom Yorke's bleached mullet circa 'Creep' is the worst EVER rock 'n' roll haircut!
Fact Number Two: Radiohead are named after a Talking Heads tune
Fact Number Three: The song title "2+2=5" is in fact totally wrong. 2+2=4 - Don't give up the day job Thom!

Radiohead's drummer, phil selway, is/was involved with The Samaritans in Oxford.
Maybe trying to redress the balance somehow ;-)

there was some rumour that

there was some rumour that Thom's lazy eye was an accident when he went into hospital for something else.

not sure how true that is though....

As far as I'm aware Thom

As far as I'm aware Thom Yorke's eye problem is a condition known as ptosis (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ptosis_(eyelid)). It means having a weak muscle and sometimes excess skin on the eyelid. I know this mostly because I was born with the same problem though I had mine 'fixed' aged 5. Not that that prevented any vision problems, though. I'm still massively shortsighted.

[on topic] i saw some of the Radiohead NYE webcast, it was really good. Thom and Jonny doing acoustic stuff in a field at sun up (sorry can't remember the song, had had a drink :-)

I liked that article.

I liked that article.

Although I disagree about Thom's bleached hair being the worst rock and roll haircut. I can think of a few others, including Paul Smith's Hitler hairdo, and pretty much every haircut that Motley Crue has ever had.
