The Diamond Hoo Ha Men - Who are these mysterious musical fellows?
Well, some of you may know already, if not then there’s a good chance that you’ve seen them perform as another band either on the main stage of Glastonbury or across their numerous sold out tours over the years …
This trio are soon to return with a new LP in March whilst a certain member of the band heals after an accident in the meantime.
Getting close? If not do not worry as you can be in touching distance of these legends on Monday 17th December.
Taking their name from the lead single of the new LP, The Diamond Hoo Ha Men are primed to rip this intimate venue to shreds with their infectious and searing indie anthems.
This single, along with the rest of the album was recorded over a couple of weeks in Berlin at the legendary Hansa studios. It’s produced by Nick Launay (Arcade Fire, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Nick Cave) and some songs are available via www.myspace.com/diamondhoohamen where there may also be some clues to this legendary band’s true identity. They are a bit of 'Alright'...
EIGHT LEGS
This London based four-piece abducted Clash’s attention with their ‘These Grey Days’ EP, which camouflages any notion that these guys are actually 18 or 19 years old.
The band was asked to soundtrack a Dior Homme catwalk show in Paris in 2006, for which they extended the short, sharp ‘These Grey Days’ into a fifteen-minute elegy, drawing out a mood that perfectly suited the monochrome, aristocratic clothes.
Their sound is poppy but edgy; downbeat; modern, but wearing its punk heart on its sleeve and the perfect compliment to the mystery headliners.
THE PAN I AM
The new project from Ed Larrikin, the fresh-faced frontman of Clash favourites Larrikin Love (RIP).
The lovable indie tyke returns with a new band, a new sound (peculiarly described on his website as 2-tone/Zouk) and no doubt a new hair colour.
The cherubic poet has only played a handful of gigs in this new guise, so catch him now before they quickly outgrow such intimate venues...

Clash Club has previously presented live appearances from The View, The Fratellis, The Kooks, The Rumble Strips, Vincent Vincent and the Villains, Pete and the Pirates, The Kissaway Trail and many more established and emerging bands.
